Headstart Class Pass : Secondary 4 (2027) Maths [$75 for 2-week Class Pass]

The S4 E Math Headstart reinforces essential Secondary 3 concepts while giving your child an early introduction to key Secondary 4 topics — so the new academic year starts with confidence, not catch-up.

Algebra and indices need to be solid before moving on. And topics like probability, matrices and set language are entirely new — the kind of content that’s much easier to grasp with an early introduction, rather than encountering it for the first time in class.

This programme covers both. Students will revisit Algebra — identities, completing the square, factorisation, algebraic fractions and making the subject — and Indices, before moving into new Secondary 4 topics: financial arithmetic (income tax, interest, hire purchase, GST and discounts), Set Language & Venn Diagrams, Probability and Matrices.

The goal is to walk into S4 E Math with both a solid foundation and an early head start.

Topic: E Math Consolidation & New Topics

Key Skills: Algebra and indices revision, financial arithmetic, set language, probability and matrices.

Why It Matters: Reinforces essential Secondary 3 concepts while giving students an early introduction to key Secondary 4 topics, helping them begin the new academic year with greater confidence.

Week 1 : Topic: Algebra — Identities, Completing the Square, Factorisation, Fractions & Making the Subject
Week 2 :  Topic: Indices — Laws, Applications & Standard Form
Week 3 : Topic: Income Tax, Interest, Hire Purchase, GST & Discounts
Week 4 : Topic: Set Language & Venn Diagrams
Week 5 :Topic: Probability
Week 6 : Topic: Matrices

Secondary 4A (2027)
Topic: Advanced Trigonometry & Calculus

Key Skills: Further trigonometry, R-formula and differentiation techniques including the chain, product and quotient rules, as well as differentiation of exponential and logarithmic functions.

Why It Matters: Gives students an early foundation in major Secondary 4 A Math topics and prepares them for the increased depth and complexity of calculus and trigonometry.
