The P6 Science Headstart helps students make invisible forces visible through hands-on experiments, building challenges and real-world examples.

Students will explore Pushes & Pulls, Balanced and Unbalanced Forces, Magnetism, Gravity and Friction. They will build structures, investigate the effects of forces, create an electromagnet, explore gravitational pull and test how friction affects movement.

The focus is not simply remembering that a force exists.

Students learn to predict, test, observe and explain what that force actually does.

P6 Math moves quickly. Some of its most important concepts also need time to sink in.

The P6 Math Headstart introduces your child to key P6 concepts before the school year begins, giving them more time to understand the relationships behind the numbers instead of rushing to memorise a method.

Students will explore Algebra, Ratio, Circles, and Algebra & Patterns. They will learn what an unknown represents, work with the four operations in algebra, see relationships between quantities in ratio, understand where circle formulas come from and turn number or figure patterns into general algebraic rules.

These are skills that build on one another.

Why does water disappear? Why do we feel cold after swimming? And what makes a bulb light up?

The P5 Science Headstart lets students investigate these questions before they encounter the concepts formally in P5.

Students will explore The Water Cycle, Evaporation, Electrical Circuits and Conductivity. They will trace how water moves through the environment, investigate factors affecting evaporation, build complete circuits and test which materials allow electric current to pass through.

Instead of simply being told the answer, students make predictions, test them and use their observations to understand what is actually happening.

That is the skill Science questions eventually test too.

They will learn how to apply operations in the correct order, understand why the triangle area formula works, make sense of percentage changes in real-life situations and visualise how 2D nets form 3D solids.

The P4 (2027) Math Headstart introduces your child to key P4 concepts before they meet them in school. Instead of simply memorising steps, students learn to spot number relationships, identify patterns and understand the logic behind new concepts.

Across the Headstart programme, students will explore Factors & Multiples, Number Patterns, Roman Numerals and Symmetry. They will practise finding factors and multiples, recognising rules in number sequences, understanding how Roman numerals work and identifying symmetry in shapes and everyday objects.

The S4 E Math Headstart reinforces essential Secondary 3 concepts while giving your child an early introduction to key Secondary 4 topics — so the new academic year starts with confidence, not catch-up.

Algebra and indices need to be solid before moving on. And topics like probability, matrices and set language are entirely new — the kind of content that’s much easier to grasp with an early introduction, rather than encountering it for the first time in class.

This programme covers both. Students will revisit Algebra — identities, completing the square, factorisation, algebraic fractions and making the subject — and Indices, before moving into new Secondary 4 topics: financial arithmetic (income tax, interest, hire purchase, GST and discounts), Set Language & Venn Diagrams, Probability and Matrices.

The goal is to walk into S4 E Math with both a solid foundation and an early head start.
