At Blue Tree Education Learning Centre, our Mathematics curriculum is a comprehensive programme aligned with the latest MOE syllabus. From problem-solving skills, heuristics to higher-order thinking questions, we ensure that the students will attain competence in Mathematics that can serve them well later in life and stretch their fullest potential.

Our in-house specially designed materials focus on helping the students to build a strong foundation in logic and numeracy and excel in their school examinations. From now till the end of PSLE, your child will study past year examination papers and be able to identify different types of questions tested.  Exposure to the plethora of different question types will raise student’s understanding of the content and knowledge required for the examinations which allows them to achieve academic excellence.

Many students struggle with problem sums in Section C due to the lack of understanding the question requirements and incorrect answering strategies. They may also have problems understanding the Maths concept that is being tested in the question. 

At our centre, your child will be taught our signature 4-step answering technique, S.O.L.V.E., to solve questions with understanding of the question requirements and ensure each answer is to the examination setters’ expectations. This foolproof technique is designed so that every child is able to learn and apply it to the most common and even higher order Maths questions.

Our team of teachers specializing in Mathematics will work with your child to revise their fundamentals in their Primary Math and refine their answering techniques needed for exams. They are highly trained in the MOE syllabus and have at least 3 years of teaching experience in schools and have been personally taught by our Principal and curriculum writer, Teacher Faith.

BlueTree aims to prepare your child for exams with exam preparation 2-3 weeks in advance. Students are expected to be 80% ready for PSLE by the end year, mastering the different techniques taught to them and becoming a strategic problem solver.

The Primary Maths Syllabus will be completed before P6 Mid-Year Examinations. On top of the teaching of new topics for P6, there will be constant review and revision of P3 to P5 topics to solidify understanding and concepts.

From June, our dedicated team at BlueTree will focus on preparing our P6 students for the upcoming Prelim and PSLE examinations. Students will be exposed to and practice past PSLE and Top Schools’ exam questions which are commonly tested in PSLE to deepen their understanding the Maths Concepts required in Maths problem sums questions whilst applying our Signature S.O.L.V.E. Technique for effective answers.
