Exploring the differences between different generations and the disagreements that can arise, we can witness what truly matters during Christmas time.

#2: Rise of the Guardians

When their cave is destroyed, the Croods, a family of cavemen, are forced into the perilous outside world where they meet Guy, an ingenious inventor. They set out on a journey – both to find a new cave and to overcome their fears, push themselves out of their comfort zone, and embrace new experiences.

OK, for this one, you’ll have to scooch your bum out of the house and into a cinema seat. But we can assure you that the live-action musical Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile is more than worth the trip!

Josh is anxious when his family moves to New York. Sure enough, he struggles to adapt to the new school and life. However, things take a fantastic turn when he meets Lyle (voiced by pop singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes himself), a crocodile with a stellar voice.

In this heartwarming story, we see how the support of family can help us overcome our fears and inhibitions to enjoy life to the fullest.
